DANCING IN THE STREET

This Sunday July 25th, Vancouver salsa dancers take over Granville Street with a FREE outdoor salsa dance hosted by SalsaVancouver.net

Non-stop salsa dancing in the open air and summer sun from 2 pm until 6pm!

This is literally ‘dancing in the street’ – on the road, the sidewalk, wherever you can. Make sure to wear comfy shoes like runners (not your expensive dance shoes) and adjust your dancing style so you don’t injure yourself or your partner (no crazy spins or fancy stuff!)

Dancing in the Street will be running all summer long, with salsa dancing on July 25, August 15 & 29, and Lindy and swing dancing on August 8 & 22.

Sponsored by the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, and sponsored in part by The Georgia Straight, the events are part of the Rediscover Granville initiative by the City of Vancouver to encourage the arts and entertainment in the downtown core
